Second Tier Search Directories & Search Engines
There are literally thousands of search engines and
directories; you can find a small number listed lower down
on this page.
There are also companies that will register you with many
of these directories (note that most of the
automated-submission systems do not get you into many of
these directories!). Here's information about the firm I
currently work with for directory registrations.

IMPORTANT: This list is somewhat out of date, and I
don't both keeping it up to date now; it makes more
sense to use a service, such as the one above, that will
manage directory submissions for you.
